The Nashua Home Design Center’s Educational Series is designed to help homeowners navigate home improvement projects with confidence. Each event features one in-depth presentation on a broad-interest topic, led by a trusted industry expert from one of our members. You'll leave with actionable advice—and a clearer vision for your home.
What to Expect:
One interactive 45–60 minute presentation in our beautiful showrooms
Rotating topics that appeal to homeowners at all stages of planning
A brief introduction to the NHDC and our member businesses
Small group size for Q&A and discussion (max. 20 guests)
Light refreshments
A short post-event survey to help us improve
In this session, you’ll learn:
How to turn your ideas into a realistic, buildable plan
What to expect from the design phase (and why it matters so much)
The pros and cons of different project approaches—architect-led, design/build, or DIY
How to spot red flags when hiring a contractor
Common remodeling pitfalls—and how to avoid them
What it’s really like to live through a renovation (hint: it’s doable!)
Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your Pinterest board—we’ll cover it all. Light snacks and refreshments will be served in a relaxed, small-group setting inside our beautiful showroom.

Located at 520 Amherst Street in Nashua, the Nashua Home Design Center is home to six independently operated showrooms, offering everything from cabinetry and flooring to closets, fixtures, and custom window treatments.
